Shannon Pearl is a vibrant contemporary folk artist. Mixing traditional instrumentation – in her 6 piece live band – with more modern esoteric live looping sets which she performs solo, using a variety of effects.
Her songwriting draws heavily on local history, oral tradition and the folk lore of the British Isles.
Past releases include; acapella EP ‘Caves’ 2020, three consecutive singles – ‘Mountains’, ‘Halcyon’ and ‘Step Into the Glow’ released in 022 and most recently ‘Ghosts’ loop EP release December 2022.
Pearl also performs around the region as one half of duo YUMA, and sings backing vocals in the Nick Gladdish Band.
Summer 2023 will see the release of her first full length album followed by an autumn tour at the end of next year.
