Expelled from Uganda in 1970’s by the tyrant dictator Idi Amin, Kavita comes from a musical family. She was trained in Indian classical music by her father from the age of 3 years old and learned to play the harmonium. Kavita has always loved the club and dance music scene, having partied hard during her University days in Nottingham. When Kavita hit 50, during UK Covid 19 Lockdown, she DJ streamed every Friday and collaborated with many organisations. Now, Kavita DJs at many venues. She is passionate about the music she plays and provides an energetic and vibrant performance; Kavita is guaranteed to liven up any party!
