A DJ himself, beginning in the heady Rave days of 1991 and a Resident at “Reverb” – Newcastle’s House and Techno party from 2000 until 2003. He warmed up for and helped to bring to the North East, Carl Craig, DJ Bone, Vince Watson and Andrew Weatherall.
Between 2004 and 2014 as part of the “Suono”, Balearic / Disco Collective, he played alongside A Certain Ratio, Aficionado, Daniele Baldelli, Ashley Beedle, Phil Mison and Greg Wilson
More recently, he could be found providing Method Radio with a Weekly mix – “The Balearic Sound Of Shieldfield”, as well as behind the Turntables at Newcastle’s Star And Shadow and making his first appearance in the “Delta City” area, at Lindisfarne
