By Train

Located on the East Coast mainline (London Kings Cross > Edinburgh), the nearest station to the festival site is at Berwick-upon-Tweed.

Our official travel parner Virgin Trains will be offering an exclusive discount on train travel to & from Berwick for the duration of the festival. You can travel from Newcastle/Edinburgh to Lindisfarne Festival for as little as £5 each way! Trains will be available to book up to 24 weeks in advance.

FREE Bus - from Berwick

We are hosting a free bus from Berwick Train Station to the festival site on Friday (Time TBC). A return bus will be leaving the festival site on Sunday at 12pm midday, arriving back at Berwick train station at approximately 12:30pm - please allow plenty of time when booking trains.

Seats will only be allocated to passengers who have bought a ticket to the festival and cannot be reserved prior to ticket purchase. Tickets can be purchased here.

A public bus service also operates from the train station to Holy Island, via the festival site. Further details available here


By Car

The festival site is located at Beal Farm on the Northumberland mainland, just a few miles off the A1. Proceed along the A1 to the crossroad at Beal (approximately 8 miles South of Berwick-upon-Tweed). From there, follow the signs to Holy Island. The festival site is just yards from the Lindisfarne Causeway and car parks will be clearly sign posted.

When you plan your route to Lindisfarne Festival, please take a moment to consider the environment. If you are driving to the festival, fill your car with friends. If you can't travel with old friends, travel with new ones! Find fellow festivalgoers to car share with on our Facebook and Twitter pages or use public transport if possible.

Car Parking

The parking area is separate to the campsite - just a short walk away (approx 400m). Cars must have a valid parking pass for the duration of your stay at the festival. We recommend booking your parking in advance.
