Originally from Northumberland and recently having moved back, Laura has toured the UK gig circuit and festival scene (Cambridge Folk Festival, Bestival, Sidmouth Folk Week, How the Light Gets In, Edinburgh Fringe) and opened for artists UK and American artists including Simone Felice, Gaelynn Lea, The Once, O’Hooley and Tidow and Jackie Oates. Laura performs as a duo with talented banjo and fiddle player Jo Cooper. (N.B. Duo partner musician tbc over next few weeks).
Laura’s album’s are widely reviewed in the UK folk press and played on indie and local BBC radio. Her most recent album ‘Today’s Another Day’ was released in 2019. Americana UK called it ‘Well-crafted, beautifully performed and lyrically smart’.
