Too Many T’s – The South London based rappers have crafted a faithful following with their golden-era hip hop formula; positive vibes, trademark rapid back to back flows and turbo-charged live performances.
The T’s have been championed by the likes of Radio X’s John Kennedy, and BBC Radio 1’s Rob Da Bank and supported by BBC 6Music’s Lauren Laverne and Huffington Post, who hailed the duo as ‘Britain’s answer to the beastie boys’.
Now considered to be one of the UK’s freshest live hip-hop acts, the T’s self-released music has taken them across the length and breadth of Britain, and across the channel into Europe. Highlights have included stand-out performances at Glastonbury, Boomtown, Fusion Festival and Secret Garden Party as well as main stage shows at Kendal Calling, Bestival and Camp Bestival – turning all the right heads warming up for De La Soul.
The T's have also opened for a number of their childhood heroes; Snoop Dogg, Public Enemy, Chali2na from Jurassic 5, Wu Tang Clan, Grandmaster Flash, The Pharcyde, Ugly Duckling, People Under The Stairs, Asher Roth, Slick Rick and Big Daddy Kane; a comprehensive list of who's who in Hip Hop.
The T’s will be releasing their debut album, produced by Odjbox and Flux Pavilion, in spring 2017. They have found the formula to bring the lively lyricism and refreshing levity that has made them a must-see live act to next year’s must-have album. The pair have recently dropped a one-off grime track racking up over 100k plays in a week, along with the release of their debut single ‘Diamonds/Gold’ which has racked up close to 100k streams on Soundcloud.
