Eabhal are four musicians who met and began making music together on the Outer-Hebrides' Isle of Uist. Playing folk music from Scotland, Ireland, Europe and further, alongside self-penned tunes, they have a unique sound that demonstrates their collective musical ethos.
Since the release of their self-titled E.P the band have toured throughout Europe with plans set to return later this year.
“A brilliant sparky young band with their feet firmly rooted in their Highland and Island traditions” - Ann Martin (Cèol on the Croft Festival)
“Full of energy and bold ideas but firmly grounded in the Scottish & Gaelic tradition, Eabhal are one of Scotland's brightest up and coming bands that continue to evolve our music.” - Angus Lyon (Blazin’ Fiddles)
“They also had plenty of driving reels and catchy hornpipes to keep everyone's toes tapping in time! They delivered their music with a confidence and style beyond their years and formed an immediate bond with the audience.” - Mick West, Scots Singer of the Year, Na Trads (Partick Folk Club)
