Published in Blog

We've had hundreds of entries and thousands of votes but there can only be one winner. The people have spoken and with a whopping 47% of the public vote, the winner of our unsigned band competition is (drum roll....) THE WINACHI TRIBE!

Thank you to everyone who voted and supported our five fantastic finalists and helped spread the word about the Musicians Against Homelessness campaign. It was a tough competition and we're certainly glad we didn't have to make the deciding vote.

Wow! There has been so many great entries submitted from brilliant up & coming bands from around the UK. From the tip of Scotland to the deep, deep South - we've absolutely loved checking out all the nominated bands and we'll certainly be baring many in mind for our lineup in future years of Lindisfarne Festival. It therefore gives us great pleasure to be bringing on board Northumberland's very own comedy powerhouse Punch Drunk Comedy! Punch Drunk will be taking over our comedy stage in 2017 to bring the feel-good force of laughter they've become renowed for in the North East over the last 8 years.
